Notes |
| Pipeline3D for Windows Demo | EXE self-installing package |
Download the exe or run it straight from the link. Follow a few simple install steps through the installer wizard. |
| Pipeline3D for Mac OSX Demo | Standard Mac DMG file |
Double click the DMG file to mount it, then drag the files into your Applications folder. Note: Pipeline3D supports Mac OSX running on Intel processors only. |
| Pipeline3D for Linux Demo | gzip format |
Simply unzip the files into the directory of your choice using the command "tar zxvf Pipeline3D.tar.gz". Installing into your home directory is arguably the best location. The application should be installed after entering only the single command mentioned above. For further instructions, read the README file in the Pipeline3D directory that was created upon executing the command above. |
Manuals Only
Note: manuals are provided in the installer packages above and do NOT need to be downloaded separately. If, however, you ONLY want to view the manuals without having to download and install the above demos, then select one of the links below. If you are not sure which document format to download and don't want to read the lengthy note sections, then here are my summary recommendations: Mac OSX users - choose PDF, Linux users - choose .tar.gzip, Windows users - choose CHM.

Adobe PDF (.pdf) |
This file can be opened on any platform provided you have Adobe Reader installed. If you don't already know what Adobe Reader is, this is probably already installed on your system no matter if you're using Windows/Mac/Linux. If not, you can find Adobe Reader as follows: 1) Adobe Reader for Windows here, 2) Adobe Reader for Mac here 3) Adobe Reader for Linux - depends on your distro. |
|
HTML (.tar.gzip) |
Users familiar with Linux will know what gzip format is. For Windows users, applications like WinRAR can decompress this file. |
|
Windows CHUM file (.chm) |
If you're a Windows user and you just want to click and read the manual with minimum of hassle, then this CHM link is your best choice. The .CHM document is a native Windows help format. |
